On my Android phone, in the WiFi Network settings I can see the two networks I set up on the Extender (2G and 5G). When I try to connect to either one of them, I see on the Extender a green connecti...

No, I used the 'Connect with Web Browser Setup'. The router is using WPA2 security settings. The service is Specrum and router is: ASKEY RAC2V1K Router

Everything is on WPA2, no weird characters in SSIDs or passwords. I also don't understand why any of it would have changed, since it worked great for a year; we haven't changed anything or moved anything in that time.

Is it set in extender mode on the switch?
Have you tried running it in access point mode to see if it works that route?

Yes, it's on extender.
No, it did not work on access point.

In the instructions for enabling Mac filtering, it says to add your Wifi device/s to the extender's network and then go to an online site on that device to login into the extender (while using the extender's network). Ironically, you can't go to that online address because you have no internet while using the extender's network, which is what you are trying to fix. So it's basically impossible.

Are you talking about the instructions for your router mac filtering?
If so, just connect to the router and do it.

In the Extender's user manual, 2 of the steps that describe how to get the MAC addresses that you need to add to the router.are as follows:
7. Scroll down and select Connected Devices.
The Connected Devices section displays the MAC addresses and virtual MAC addresses
for computer and WiFi devices that are connected to the extender network.
8. On the router, add all of the virtual MAC addresses from your extender to your router’s MAC
filter table.I can't login to the extender to get those addresses because I can't get onto the internet with a device that is on the extender's network. It's a Catch22. You need to get on the internet to login to the extender with a device that's on the extender's network (so that you can get those MAC addresses), yet I can't get on the extender's network to login as that is the problem I am trying to fix (not getting an internet connection).
