Cannot Reset to Factory Settings
Hi!
I have one of these extenders and had it connected to my router at home. It didn't work very well, so I removed it and brought it to a different location. I tried resetting the factory settings as per the instructions (hold down "reset" for ~10 seconds or until blinking amber). I held it down for 10, 20, then 30 seconds. Not once did the amber light start blinking. Is there another way to reset it?

Yes, but only if you can still log into the extender's network. It's described in the section called "To log in to the extender and reset the extender’s to factory settings" on page 35 here: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/EX2700/EX2700_UM_EN.pdf
Using a different paper clip might also be worth a try (maybe a thinner one?).
