Changing Antennas
My mom's apartment is in a pre-fab metal building shell. The wifi from my brother's house 75 feet away has a hard time penetrating the metal shell. Can I connect a Hawking Outdoor Wireless-AC 12dBi Directional Antenna (Model HOA12DP) to the Netgear AC750 (Model EX6100)? I would mount the Hawking outside of the metal shell and pass the cable through the metal shell to the Netgear WiFi Range Extender. Please help if you can - I'm trying to set this up for Christmas!

Hello Sleaux2connect
Netgear does not approve of using 3rd party antennas but maybe someone else in the community will be able to help with this.
