Googling "EX2700 support" should give you a link to Netgear's support page ( https://www.netgear.com/support/product/EX2700.aspx ) - which has manual links and other resources. The direct manual link is http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/EX2700/EX2700_UM_EN.pdf
WPS setup sometimes fails. So reset the extender again, and this time don't press WPS. You'll see a network called NETGEAR_EXT which you join. Then browse to www.mywifiext.net and complete the setup. More details are on page 10 of the manual ( Connect With Web Browser Setup )

- teagueqcJan 11, 2019TutorThank you. This didn’t work for me at first, but I hadn’t registered my range extender when I first bought it, so I registered it, did another ‘reset’ and this time the webpage you mention came up. I have now succeeded in getting the range extender to work with my new router.
May I mention something that may help others? I’ve found that if I follow the instructions by placing the extender roughly halfway between the router and the device I only get a very slight boost to the signal. However, by placing it much closer to the device, I get a far stronger signal, even though the router light is red.
Anyway, thanks again for your helpful response.
