Connecting EX6100
At wit's end: bought an EX6100 today to improve my modem's range but I can't get it to connect to the router. The extender connects to my computer and I follow the instructions provided on the browser for setting the network up, but once it applies the new settings and tells me I'm ready to connect, the router led light still hasn't lit up and I have no connection to the internet. I can't use the WPS method because I don't think my modem (Netgear Rangemax DG834PN) has a physical WPS button. Is the extender faulty? The modem is excellent at close range but just can't reach my study. What are my options?

Hello ricky713
Make sure your router is using WPA2 security and also try to change the wireless channel.
