Connecting more than one range extender

Thanks, I see what you're saying.  Given that I do my Netgear setup/programming from my PC, then just set up one extender at a time.  I already gave the 5G and 2G networks on my first extender distinctive names.  Once I get the second extender, those additional extender networks will come with the factory default names and can then be selected/connected to from the PC. 

The principle you're saying is that it should be possible to then program the second extender without in any way affecting what's already been programmed on the first extender  --  sound right?
