Connecting Targa HDD t ethernet port on Wn300RP

Question

I am able to use this to extend wifi signal fine. Initially with Netgear Router & more recently with one ovided by uplir.

I am not even certain if either of these are possible.

I have tried to connect a Targa NDAS 500 drive & although this works when connected to router it does no work when wired in to rage extender.

It also seems that I am unable to connect a set top box (ferguson Ariva 150) to extender. (Clearly not at same time)

Any ideas?

Are you geting a IP address when connected to the extender via etherenet or nothing at all?

Darren,&nbsp;Thank you. &nbsp;As I have seen some netgear advice that drives should really only be connected directly and not via extenders I will not pursue this.&nbsp;I have managed to connect a Humax Foxsat HRD successfully but not Ferguson Ariva 150&nbsp;Thanks
