Connecting to Netgear wifi extender EX6 120
I have a wifi extender (EX6120) bought in UK in 2017. I live part of the year in South Africa and have tried several times to use the extender here. I cannot get it to work. Are the extenders program...

After resetting the extender by using a small paper clip you can find NETGEAR_EXT as a wifi network on a wireless device. From there, as StephenB mentions, browse to http://www.mywifiext.net. and it will take you to the extender's web setup.

I've gone through the process of resetting the extender and trying to set it up at least 10 times and it is driving me absolutely nuts. At the end of the process, when the manual says that I should connect to the extended network before hitting the "continue" button, as soon as I try to connect, the screen goes blank and there is no longer any "continue" button to click. Please believe me, I am reasonably intelligent and quite computer literate, but I am still at a loss as to how to complete the set-up.
Hi Headgear42 - Would it be possible for you to set up the extender with a wired connection? If so, please let us know the outcome.

- I have a similar situation to this post and can also not connect from my laptop to my Ex6120 using the network security key from the main router. All the lights on the extender are green except the device light. Using the WPS button on the extender I can connect my mobile to the -2GEXT network, but I cannot manually connect my laptop to that network because the network security key I've used successfully for over a year is not accepted anymore. The login attempt returns the message: "Some info changed since last time you connected. We need additional information to complete the connection". I've tried everything for a whole day but without any success, it's driving me crazy. Please help. KernowJack.
