Does EX7000 support Bridge mode?
Does EX7000 support Bridge mode?
Switching network infrastructure to Netgear products and looking for a device capable of WLAN AC in bridge mode.
http://www.netgear.com/home/discover/gaming/
Halfway down this page it specifically mentions wireless extenders in Bridge mode but the EX7000 product page and manual does not mention this feature.
"Upgrade Your Console's WiFi
Upgrade your XBox or PlayStation's slower 11n WiFi with a NETGEAR range extender, and reap the benefits of the advanced 11ac router speeds available today. You can create a WiFi bridge and upgrade your game console's WiFi speed by adding a dual band 11ac range extender to your network and connecting your console directly into the range extender, creating a WiFi bridge. And if you decide to select a desktop range extender, you can use one the five Ethernet ports to connect your TV, Blu-Ray or streaming player directly into the WiFi network as well."
Just bought a R7500v2 instead since the documentation doesn't support the claim of Bridge mode on the EX7000.

Yes, all Netgear range extenders with an Ethernet port support Bridge mode, including the EX7000. See the section Connect Ethernet-enabled devices on page 18 of the EX7000 manual.

But is it possible to configure the EX7000 as a bridge only? (ie so that the EX7000 connects to a wireless router as a client, AP and Extender functionality turned off)
An extender is a bridge.
