Dropped Connection After A While in EX6150, All Lights Green Still
I moved into a new build house and had never myself connected a wireless client to the EX6150 in the years that have passed.
But now I'm putting it between the modem/router and my PC (I will eventually make the home wired). Whether I set the typical mode (2.4GHz/5GHz between router and EX6150) or I use the FastLane feature (requiring 5GHz between router & EX6150, since connecting printers dont have 5GHz connections), over time (more than an hour, less than 24 hours), my PC shows "No Internet". I can see the "_2GEXT" on the available networks, but it does not connect at all. When I reconnect directly to the router, and look at its "connected devices" list, the EX6150 doesn't show up whereas it did before. Note that the PC and EX6150 all have manually configured IP addresses (not DHCP assigned). Yet ALL the indicator lights are green. It does not indicate at all that it is not connected to the router or in any other bad state. And the EX6150 does not self-heal at all with time. It requires I do a power restart to be enabled for service and re-connecting, which it does in minutes after it has completed its startup processes.
Distances/barriers? From router to EX6150, it's 4 feet to door from utility/washer/dryer room, turn 90 deg left, then 19 feet down the hallway, turn 90 right and just 3 feet to the outlet on the left where the EX6150 is. From EX6150 to my client (my PC), continue down that hallway maybe 10 feet, turn left then immediately right through office/bedroom door, and maybe 8 feet to the PC. Not mammoth distances and as far as I know, the house interior walls are plain old sheetrock, as thin/standard as it gets.
Suggestions for remedy?

a couple things.
1. you can go into your main router and change the wireless channel its using. Maybe there's interference
2. when you have it working (first connected), go into the extenders status page and get a screen snip. that'll show you the connection back to the router and give us a rough idea how that connection is. Reason its important is sometimes things in the wall (think hvac/plumbing/etc) can be causing issues.

The modem/router is a HUMAX BGW320-500, used by AT&T internet service. The functionality of that device includes the user being given form controls to find the "best channel" in the scan of the modem's 2.4 and 5GHz frequencies (image 1).
Here is what the EX6150 status page looks like when connected to the network (image 2) and note that the device is set in FastLane feature: Router <==> EX6150 in 5GHz mode (image 3)
It should be noted that the EX6150 "WiFi Channel" is set to "Auto" (image 4), which I think is for clients and not its connection to the modem/router. The modem/router decided the best 2.4GHz channel is 11, and 5 GHz are 36 and 149
I power-cycled the EX6150 yesterday, and it is still connected to the modem/router. No client was put on it, but as soon as I do, I can expect EX6150 to drop its connection to modem/router and clients. It will show green on all lights, it will broadcast a _2GEXT signal, but refuse to connect to anything on either router or client side.

You might try enabling dynamic ip address.
Also, in fastlane, the one band is dedicated to the router and the other for devices.
so you still might get drops for the devices connected to the extender because they're on 2.4ghz. 2.4ghz is more sensitive to interference.
Does the extender work when you connect devices to it?
