Eax15 extender setup help
Hello,
1. I have 2 networks 2.4 and 5 ghz setup and running different devices. I bought the eax15 to extend my current wifi so that I can roam and use the same network password as I move between my XR500 and the extender.
This setup wants a single wifi network name/password and I don’t have that.
2. The Ethernet plug on the eax15, can I use it as a hard wire from the xr500 router?

1. The XR500 supports smart connect (single ssid function). You could set that up on the XR500 and then the mesh function on the EAX15 and have a single ssid for the whole home.
2. You can hardwire the EAX15 to the XR500 but you'd need to put the EAX15 in access point mode for it to function properly.
