EAX80 / AX6000 Power Adapter DC plug ID

What's the internal diameter of an EAX80 / AX6000's power DC plug? The OD is 5.5mm, but it is difficut to measure presicely the ID with a caliper. The ID seems to be either 2.1mm or 2.5mm.

 

Due to the AC pin's layout, the power adapter that came with the extender does not fit in an almost fully occupied (with other power adapters) power strip. Therefore I'm looking for a third power adapter that does not occupied too much power strip's space.

    instead of buying a new power strip, why not buy a 6-12 inch power cord extention? 
    i've done that before. Its a much cheaper option and then you don't have to worry about sketchy power supplies.
