EAX80 and BT Smarthub2 Issues

Hi
I have full fibre BT broadband through a BT SmartHub2 router along with three BT wifi discs.

 

My Nighthawk AX8 wi-fi extender seems to drop wifi connection regularly and even clash with the wifi itself. I noticed my iMac ethernetted to the router was refreshing its IP address continuously until I switched the AX8 off.

Smart set up is off (on both router and AX8).

Any suggestions please?

    Try powering off the BT wifi discs and see if the EAX stays stable. If they're setup in mesh, the extender can be hopping around from router to mesh discs and it causes problems. 

    It isn't recommended to mix mesh systems.
