EAX80 extender loses connection daily
I have an RAX200 router connecting to an EAX80. I see that the EAX80 loses connection to the router every day (It used to work fine before this month). It is not in the router's list of connected devices. If i restart the extender it connects to the router. I don't wish to restart the extender daily. Is there a way around this?

What modem/gateway is the router connected to?
What firmware is on the router? and on the extender?
Did you set the extender up using wps?Modem = CM2050V
I always auto update the firmware to the latest in the router and extender
The extender was setup using the network name and password.
I finally found the "solution" for it.
- Dont use the SmartConnect in the RAX200 router
- Use one wifi name for 2.4Ghz and one 5Ghz, say "wifi1"
- Use another wifi name for the second 5Ghz, say "wifi1_5G".
- Connect the EAX80 to the "wifi1"
This fixed all issues and is stable, no disconnections.
Sure, I am not using a tier in the router, but thats a small price to pay.
