Ex 6120 led always red
May ex6120 is a dice meters from router, but Led "Router" is always red. The product is working, internet is ok,but Led Red is a problem, i don'like It.

1. Does the LED color change when you have the extender close to the router?
2. Is the router signal strong from where the extender is located? You can check using a mobile device.
3. What is the firmware version of the extender?
4. Have you tried resetting the extender?

my extender ex6120 also stay red on the router light , the router is only one room away. How do I check the firmware, also my router is a netgear so it should work. My computer shows the extender is working but the light is still red. help
I return EX6120 to shop, and buy EX6150. Now all LED green

Please provide answers to my previous inquiry.
You can check the firmware version by accessing the extenders UI. You can try using the IP address assigned to it by the router. You can find it on the router UI under attached devices.
