Welcome to the community!
1. Most, if not all, NETGEAR extenders work with most routers. You may check with your ISP if there are any compatibility issues.
2. Does the extender show up as a connected device on the router's UI with an assigned IP?
3. Please make sure there is no MAC filtering or similar that may prevent the extender from connecting to the router.
