EX2700 Range extender. Unable to access.

Recently reinstalled an EX2700 range extender. It is connected to my WiFi and can be identified as so, on the BT hub (router). Confirmed by being able to see the Mac and IP address.

Atempting to access and set up Via mywifext. get the Meaasage "You are not connected to your extender's WiFi network.". Entering the IP address in Firefox fails too. "site not found". Non of the work-a-rounds on the Support site have worked either.

This device was working when taken out of service some time back.

Any Idea`s?

Pete.

If you set it up with wps, factory reset the device. then install it using the installation assistant and not wps.

To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.

Here's a video of how to use the assistant.

      Hi

Sadly, I have seen that video before. The fact is I cannot access the device in the first place. It shows on my router which indicates it "sees" the system. but still won`t allow access to the Log On. Entering the IP address is not recognised. Setup with WPS fails.

If you tried wps, factory reset it.

Then hardwire a PC/laptop into the extender (shut off the pc/laptops wifi) and go to 192.168.1.250 or mywifiext . net
