EX2700 suddenly stopped working - won't connect when next to router

I bought this product in Dec. It was easy to set up and was working perfectly until Monday when it just... stopped. I tried a factory reset, I tried powing cycling the router. I plugged it in to the same outlet as the router i.e. right next to it and it won't connect to the router. I haven't found any way to actually talk to someone at netgear. I've completed the warrently replacement webform 2x, but I haven't even gotten an email confirmation that it was submitted.
