ex3700 Cant connect to a new wifi
I have been using a netgear Wi-Fi range extender (model EX3700) for 2 years and recently had to buy a new Wi-Fi Router. I am not able to set the existing WiFi range extender to the new router because it says that it is not connected to the same network. I know it is not connected since I installed the new router. I tried factory re-setting the WiFi extender but it doesnt seem to reset anything. How can I change which WiFi network the extended is connected to? Do I need to put the old router back to change something before connecting it to the new router?

when many reset, they don't push and hold the button. While the ex3700 is powered on, push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds. the lights should flash when held long enough.
then go through setup.
If it doesn't work, try hardwiring into the extender with a pc/laptop and trying setup. Just make sure that whatever pc/laptop you connect to it has the wifi disabled so it doesn't default back to wifi during setup.
