Mar 06, 2018EX3700 can't extend 2.4GHz band
Since a month ago, my EX3700 has slow issues. I have power cycled several times and now it can't extend my 2.4GHz band from R6700v2. I updated the channels in R6700v2 like 2.4GHz -> 01 and 5GHz -> 1...

Hi Retired_Member,
You can try other channels for 2.4GHz. Also, try to do a reset and reconfigure it if the issue persist.

As my original post, I did mention I did the reset. I also did reconfig several times. The 2.4GHz SSID can be seen with 100% signal, but it just can't connect it. It mentions to check if my router has a black list but I double check there is none.

Hi Retired_Member,
May I know the security type selected for 2.4 and 5GHz on your router?

Both are WPA2-PSK[AES]
I changed to channel 6 for 2.4GHz now. When I reconfig it, it looks like I can extend it; however, once the config is done then reconnect to the extender, the 2.4GHz is still disconnected. I now can only connect it to another 2.4GHz SSID from EX2700 (channel 6). If I don't use channel 6 to extend my EX2700, the EX3700's 2.4GHz SSID can't be connected from any device.
