Hi Retired_Member,
Welcome to the community!
Please make sure you follow the steps described on page 9 of the Installation Guide here after connecting to the extender's network.

Oct 21, 2018Had already set up per installation guide. Tried multiple suggestions given in multiple, multiple posts re "EX3700 no internet" without success.
In desperation, replaced with a Hawking HWREN25. 5 minute setup, no snags, works great.

Am having the same problem with two EX3700 Range Extenders. Followed instructions exactly as printed in set up guide. Have 2.4GHz side set as public access; 5 GHz side is password protected. Checked internet access when installed using Amazon Kindle Fire and access existed. On laptop and cell phone get message there is no internet access.

Hello PeaceLutheran - Please let us know if your laptop and cellphone are able to connect to the main network (router/gateway).

Connecting to the network from the main router is fine. It's the repeater that doesn't want to connect to the bunch of holes held together with string. You know, the "Net".

Similar settings on the router wireless (with 2.4 GHz open, and 5 GHz protected)?
Both the 2.4 GHz and the 5 GHz are linked to the router showing a good rate?
Last, the DHCPserver (and the router) does allow devices connected on different MAC addresses (the Extenders do some MAC translation!) so no MAC security or allow "any", and are able to assign IP addresses to these MAC addresses too?

I am quickly getting to this same point. 3+ hours of various troubleshooting, reseting, firmware updating, etc. I had ordered because of some reviews of its ease to setup... wrong.

This process does take about two or three minutes, firmware update and required reboots included.
If not - reading and trying to answer a few questions and hints from above might help.

Ok, I could really use some help here. I am experiencing the same issues noted in this and multiple other threads.
- Good connection with my router, but any device that tries to connect to the extender does not have internet.
- All lights are green. Green light also when a device connects to the extender.
I've tried:
- Factory resets
- Powering on/off
- Changed channel on router
- Updated to latest firmware today
- Confirmed my router does see the extender
This is getting to be a bit of a joke. It is also d@#^ near impossible to get through to Netgear support, even after registering. (Get into a useless loop of non-info and references to ARLO)
Help. Please.
