Ex3700 Extender will not factory reset

I switched internet service providers and need to connect to my new router.  I am unable to factory reset the extender.  I held the button for well over 10 seconds, cycled it on and off, etc.  No change.  When I try to load the mywifiext.net webpage, it loads but there is no space to login, it just keeps telling me that I am not connected to the extender.  I am at about 120 days on this, so out of warranty.  Can someone please help?

    Hi MrsStripes,

                              Try to perform reset for 20-30 seconds and ensure you connect any wifi device to NETGEAR_EXT network before you attempt login to it.
