EX6100 firmware update
I dont know i understending the update firmware process:
I try to upgrade firmware to new one 1.0.0.28. I try to follow instruction, in this way: Note: To avoid wireless disconnect issue during the firmware download process, NETGEAR recommends that firmware upgrade be performed on a computer with wired connection. but is not possible to connect to EX6100 with wired connection. Only connected with wireless adapter. How to update firmware in this case? I try to connect first with usb wireless adapter, Netgear N600, everyting is fine. Goes to: 3.Log in to the device using a Web browser. The URL is http://www.mywifiext.net. 4.Click Maintenance > Firmware Upgrade 5.Click Browse and find the file you just downloaded. 6.Click Upload. While the firmware is loading, do not interrupt the upgrade process. I found the file and extract to my computer. I disconnected N600 and connected a wire, but connection is down. How to upgrade? or How to fix this? Windows 7 x64 PC.
