AC750 Model EX3110 5g Connection
I cannot for the life of me get my extender to connect to my 5G Wi-Fi option. I have tried resetting it, I've called into tech support and they blame my Internet provider's router and my internet provider blames the extender. Just want to be aware if anyone else has the same issue and if it's been solved. I couldn't find any forums for this particular model. I've only had it for 4 hours and I'm on the verge of smashing it.AC750 (EX6100?) works fine for a while then cannot be accessed without a restart
I have my unit set up as an extender and when I first turn it on and it finishes booting, it runs fine, within 24 hours it drops the connection to my wireless camera and i cannot connect to it with my iPhone. a power cycle gets it going again.
EX6100 Cannot connect to the internet - help please
Hi, I just purchased the EX6100 in order to extend my wireless network signal - my router signal is not strong enough in my basement to access the internet down there. I went through the setup and seemingly connected my new extender to my existing router, but when I get to the step to connect my devices to the extender's new network, I can connect, but I only get a local connection. I cannot connect to the internet. Does anyone have any idea why this might be the case? I would appreciate some help on this.Had the AC750 for a week and have already needed to restart router to maintain connection?
I bought this extender less than a week ago and at first it worked great. Then today suddenly my phone and computer could not access the internet. They both had full bars from the extender, and could connect to the extender, but could not access the internet. They could both access the internet directly from the router when I moved close enough, however, so I know the problem is with the extender. I unplugged the extender, then unplugged and replugged in the router and waited for it to boot up, then replugged in the extender, and everything worked fine. Unfortunatley the router is in my landlords house so I had to ask to enter his house and do this. I don't want to have to do this every five days. Please tell me: is there something else I can do to prevent this from happening again?
EX6100 cannot connect to my router's 5GHz frequency
Hello, I just got a Huawei E5186 4G LTE router from Europe, and I tried to get my EX6100 (bought from the US) to connect to my router's 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. It's able to connect to the 2.4GHz frequency just fine, but doesn't seem to be able to connect to the 5GHz frequency. Now I know that since I bought the devices from two different regions, not all of the 5GHz channels are supported by the two devices, which is why I tried setting up my router's 5GHz frequency on channels 36, 40, 44 and 48, which are all the channels supported by both devices. The EX6100 is able to see my router's 5GHz SSID during setup, and I'm able to finish the setup wizard fine, but when I look at the Status page afterwards, it shows that the EX6100 is not connected to my router's 5GHz. No matter how many times I try to reconnect to the 5GHz frequency, it just won't work. I tried to restore the extender to factory settings multiple times, but nothing seems to work. Both my router and extender won't allow me to change the region (tried this so that I may be able to find more common channels). How can I resolve this problem? Thanks in advance, AJ
Extender (EX7000) can't see all 5Ghz networks
Hi folks Just received my EX7000, posting here until the unit gets its own forum:) The extender is connected to a Netgear R8000, a router with 2 separate 5 ghz radios in addition to a 2.4 ghz radio. The problem is that my EX7000 only sees one of the 5 ghz radios, inf fact the one with lowest gain. All our family's phones, tablets etc. can see all radios and connect without problems, only the EX7000 is blind......Tried resetting both router and extender with no luck, latest firmware installed on both units. Any suggestions out there? Regards Dr.Doogie
Speed questions.
Got my ex6100 working yesterday. Logged into the web page to look at the settings and I noticed something odd. Connection Status to Existing Network (2.4GHz) Name (SSID) TP_2.4 Link Rate 270 Mbps Connection Status Connected Connection Status to Existing Network (5GHz) Name (SSID) TP_5 Link Rate 117 Mbps Connection Status Connected Why does it show the 5Ghz speed is slower than the 2.4Ghz speed? And shouldn't the speeds be significantly faster? Like around 750Mbps???
