Ex6110 extender doesn’t connect to the internet
Hi all,
got myself a dual band WiFi extender yesterday, so I could improve my WiFi connection upstairs as my router is on the main floor of my house.
ive tried to connect this to the routers and it says sometimes that it can’t connect, sometimes it does and then it gets no internet, it says it has a strong connection and is set and ready though the router LED on the extender never turned on and the extender WiFi has no internet connection.
does anybody have any ideas as to why this is happening or how to fix it?

Perhaps try resetting the extender with a paper clip, and set it up without pressing WPS. You join the extender network (NETGEAR_EXT) and then browse to www.mywifiext.net to complete the setup. This is described in the user manual on page 11 ( Connect with the NETGEAR Installation Assistant ).
