EX6120 in Access Point mode - very slow Wifi , Why?
Hello,
I bought a EX6120 a while ago to use as a WIFI booster, I decided against it. Now I have it setup as an access point connected to my wired network.
My actual router is downstairs and the EX6120 is right next to me. On my phone when connected to router downstairs i get 130-150Mb/second download, using the EX6120 that is right next to me in Access point mode with a wired connection I am getting 40-50Mb/second download.
This is supposed to be AC1200 and the web page says
Wireless mode: Up to 867 Mbps
So why is the download speed so slow?
Below is my main page showing that its in access point mode.
I have even tried turning off 2.4Ghz Wifi connection and still slow.
I have moved the band around to an empty band after using a wifi scanner and this improved the speed to 65Mb/second, still way off where it should be though.
// Edit attached the screenshot as a file instead as it doesnt want to show in my post.

Have you checked the cable the extender is plugged into to see if the extender is getting full speed?

Yes, I have connected this direct to my PC and it gets full speed.
