ex6150 access point set up trouble

i cannot set up my ex6150 in access point mode.  my netgear genie app will not see it.  ihave the 6150 LAN port connected to my netgear WNDR3700 router LAN port.  the 3700 LAN port does not lite up.  

 

mywifiext.net in a browser goes to the error page.

 

how do i install this guy?

    Hello erich1005

     

    I would try to factory reset the extender and then try to use www.mywifiext.net again and if this does not work try hooking the Ethernet port on the extender directly to your pc and try to connect to it.
