EX6150/AC1200 WiFi range extender NO INTERNET
No internet connection. I used the extender for months with no issue and now there is no internet connection. I have factory reset multiple times and changed SSID. Please help :)
I figured out how to upgrade the firmware and performed a factory reset. I ran through the setup and exactly the same thing happens. Connects to extender but NO INTERNET connection. I attached a shot to show the firmware update has been completed.

The video to download the new firmware requires I connect to the internet through the extender... which is exactly what I have been trying to do, unsuccessfully, for weeks! I cannot connect to internet so I cnnot obviously download the new firmware which is what you are asking me to do...

Try resetting one more time, and this time don't press the WPS on the EX6150.
You'll see a network called NETGEAR_EXT. Join that network, and then browse to www.mywifiext.net. Then follow the Connect with Web Browser Setup section of the manual (page 11 here: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/EX6150/EX6150_UM_EN.pdf )
I have the same problem, it started after the last security upgrade. I've had the AC1200 for a two or three years working fine. After the last firmware upgrade, maybe ocober / november last year, I have no internet. I have reset it several times, changed places, nothing.
I thought reseting to factory default would correct the isuue, nothing.
I can connect to the extender, have all five lines, the light in the extender is green, but nothing.
Any ideas, besides getting a new one?
