Yes. Everything has setup properly I believe I've even got the Netgear genie app showing me that everything is hooked up it's just when I go to sign on to the actual site for the extender it says internet is not available. It's mind-boggling to me the only thing I can think of is the MAC address and what not is not in my router but every time I go to get in my router that's through spectrum Askey model I can't sign in tells me unavailable the site
Are you connecting to the extender network when you browse to www.mywifiext.net?
- Yeah.... I'm all the way to this point hopefully this photo shows you what I'm referring to... I have the extender hook to the network here at my home but I can't get connection out of it when I try to use my cell phone or pad all it says internet may not be available and then I have to sign back over to my home network
So that setup looks perfectly ok. The only odd thing is that it is showing no client connections. Normally there would be at least one (the device that you used to set up the extender).
Is that device connected to the extender's ethernet cable? Or is it connected to the router directly?
- I used my Android cell phone and it usually shows it's hooked up to the extender when I'm on my laptop but it's not showing now or in the photo because I was using my cell phone to respond to your message and in order to do so I sign back into my houses WiFi network that extender is logged into. 4 giggles I'm going to go purchase another extender today and just try to connect it and see if it works just to see if this particular model has a defect. If it does the same thing I am just beyond shocked at how difficult this is.
