EX6150v2 & DFS Channels?

Hello,

I have a Nighthawk X4S D7800 VDSL Modem/Router (FW V1.0.1.22) and EX6150v2 – AC1200 WiFi Range Extender (FW V1.0.1.50).

The router supports the following 5GHz channels when Europe is the selected Region:

36, 40, 44, 48, 52 and DFS channels 56, 60, 64, 100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 120, 124, 128.

If I chose a DFS channel on the router, the extender does not find the channel when doing a Smart Setup channel scan.

Are DFS channels not supported by the EX6150v2 or could my unit be faulty? I can find nothing in the documentation mentioning DFS channels are not supported.
