[EX6150v2] cannot get connected to 5GHz band of router
Hi,
The extender cannot get connected to my router with 5GHz band.
Other devices do canget be connected to the router on this band.
How to solve?
Here is my current configuration:
router to...
"What security mode is the router using for the 5G network?" - WPA-WPA2 Personal
Channel: Auto (64) - router can change the channel according to the changed envirounment/performance/... Could it be an issue? but the 2.4GHz band does the same...

It could be. Try changing the channel on the router to 48 or 149.
Why channel 48 or 149 should be more stable? The Internet Service Provider say that the router should be able to change the channels automatically according to the signal strength.
Channels do vary by geography. Channel 64 is a "DFS" channel. WiFi devices that use this channel need to look out for Radar systems that also use it, and switch to a different channel if that's the case. That's potentially something that could go wrong. Channel 48 and 149 are available in all geographies, and don't use DFS.
In Europe, channel 149 has a max power of 25 mw, so 48 might be a better choice there.
The 5GHz band in my router is mapped to Auto(36) channel.
According to WiFi channels list (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WLAN_channels) it seems there is no a difference between the channels 36 and 48...
