Yes. I've restarted my router, my Netgear extender, and my laptop. Nothing seems to help. I can connect to my home WiFi, but I have poor access where my laptop is connected. That's why I purchased Netgear Extender. It was working fine until yesterday. I was using my laptop, when suddenly, a message said, "No Internet Access". I've been trying everything to get my extender to work. I'm not real tech saavy, (I'm 75), But I do my best.

Are the router and client LEDs on the externder both green?
If you aren't sure where they are, check page 6 here: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/EX6150v2/EX6150v2_UM_EN.pdf

I've shut it down, hit the factory reset button, and started all over using the instructions in the net gear quick start book. The installation assistant would not let me finish. A circle in the center of the page kept swirling and swirling for a very long time after I entered the WEP and clicked next. After about ten minutes, I closed the browser.
Only two lights are green: Power LED and WPS LED.

WEP??? I don't know what you mean by that. Perhaps post a screen shot? If you actually do mean that you are choosing the WEP security method, then that is likely the problem - that's very outdated and not secure. The WiFi alliance has deprecated it.
Are you using the WPS method or the Web Browser Setup ( www.mywifiext.net )
Also, check the access point/extender switch on your extender, and make sure you didn't accidently shift it into the wrong position.
