Device names changes, real MAC addresses removed and virtual mac addresses modified on first 6 characters.

This looks awkward. Do you experince the same issue for devices connected directly to D7000 but not via extender?
no, devices coonected directly to the D700 show with their MAC addresses correctly and I can reserve IP's for these

What firmware version are you running on extender now? Look for upgrade if any and see if that helps. If persist, I would recommend you to reset and reconfigure the extender and check.
I'm runing the latest version - V1.0.1.70
I've reset and reconfigured but get the same result :(
I'm getting no where with this...
the two virtual mac addresses given to all devices are those of the 2G and 5G networks, so there is no way I can reserve an IP given the same mac address is shared, this is really frustrating!
