EX6200 connection issues with the firmware version V1.0.3.68_1.1.104
I have an ex6200 running in AP mode connecting with a R8000(nighthawk). Before I updated it to the firmware version v1.0.3.68_1.1.104, it had worked very well. I means it was steady and i was able to...

OK, well it may be worthwhile trying the previous firmware version again.

Hi All,
I too am having connection issues with the new 1.0.3.68 firmware.
My setup is as follows…
Netgear EX6200 Repeater/Access Point.
I am running it as an access point and WAS using 1.0.1.60 firmware.
Dual SSID’s running – 2.4ghz & 5ghz.
Using WPA2 – AES
Connected to the access point are
1 x Windows Phone
3 x Ipads
1 x Iphone
1 x WIFI Printer
1 x Chromecast
Running perfectly, all connect fine and performance is as expected.
Then I upgrade to firmware 1.0.3.68 and WITHOUT changing a thing, around half of my devices wont connect now. This includes the chromecast, the printer and the windows phone and 1 x iPad.
All devices that have failed to connect are using the 2.4ghz band.
To trouble shoot this I have done the following…
Factory reset the EX6200 unit and re-setup.
Cleared / Forgotten the connection on each device and then tried to connect again.
Removed security temporarily from the SSID, so it’s an open network (this works and all devices now connect again without security but obviously that’s not a good setup).
Changed the security to TKIP (again this works and all devices now connect again but due to the performance limitations I DO NOT want to keep running using TKIP).
So basically it is an issue with WPA2 – AES security authentication and only seems to affect the 2.4ghz band.
Then lastly WITHOUT changing a thing, I reverted back to 1.0.1.60 and all devices magically started to connect again without issue using WPA2 – AES.
I hope this can be fixed soon, the interface improvements are great for the new firmware but the additional bugs are not.
Thanks.
