Hi Gasconman,
Can you please confirm which firmware version you are running on the EX6200?
If it is v1.0.3.68_1.1.104 , please flash a previous version such as 1.0.1.60_1.1.98

Download the firmware, unzip the chk file with software like WinRAR,
then upload it to your EX6200 by visiting mywifiext.net (when connected to your EX6200 network)

Thanks for the reply but, having completely lost faith in the thing, I decided to take advantage of Amazon's returns policy and I sent it back today. In its place I've ordered the Netgear cradle for the Hotspot and I'll run an ethernet cable from that to a wireless access point. I'm sure that will be a better solution all round.

I did update the firmware when prompted whilst I was installing it.

You do realise that is not a solution? I am sorry, but that is far from satisfactory. Rolling back the firmware may get their devices connected, but it will also remove all those quaint little bugfixes that your people created in this patch. The firmware version in question has some very serious transmission issues and slows down the user's connection; this little issue has been neglectfully overlooked and not even mentioned. If your people have not determined the cause of the problems with the newest firmware, then say so, and if possible, give some indication towards how long we will wait for said fixes. Even so, wouldn't it have been found by now?

So, it took me an hour or so to figure out what the problem was... Long story short, Android devices are not compatible with the new encryption algorithm (or whatever those developers did to it).
Workaround? Disable Encryption.
Solution?
