EX6200 firmware V1.0.3.68_1.1.104 sucks and is slow
So I just updated my EX6200 extender to V1.0.3.68_1.1.104 and my wifi e has dropped considerably as well as the signal range. I can now only get a maximum of 30mbit sitting right next to the extender...

Netgear needs to fix this, you took a great product and ruined it with this update it can barely function now.

It would appear that this issue has occurred with others also, and Netgear are aware and investigating the problem, but I don’t think it’s occurring with all users.
Netgear suggest that people who encounter these issues should revert to a previous firmware version while a solution is found.
Thankyou for your patience.

I just updated and have struck this problem, gone from 300mbps on my Intel 6205 N card to 25. My phone can still max out my Internet connection (100mbps) though, so it may be unaffected.
I wish to downgrade the firmware, but when I try I get:
Firmware upgrade failed. Please check your file.
Doesn't matter which firmware version I try to flash they all fail with this same message.
Right now I almost have a brick of an AP when using a very common Intel wifi chipset.
Not very impressed Netgear.

Just realised that the browser firmware tool is just not accepting zips, extracting the chk lets me flash the older version.
Performance is back to normal now.

Someone reached out to me to test a beta firmware that was supposed to address these issues but I never heard back from them. This is probably the last Netgear product I buy. Terrible support.
