EX6200 Password Issues

Hello,

I've just set up my new ex6200 (ac1200) range extender to work with my Airport Extreme router. The ex6200 is connecting to the Airport Extreme and both mynetworkname_2GEXT and mynetworkname_5GEXT show up in my available network list on my PC and my iPhone 6s. Interestingly, thhough, even though both 2G and 5G come up as available networks, only the 2G is showing full green bars on the ex6200. I try connecting to both the 2G and 5G from both my PC and my phone, and per the set up instructions I use my Airport Extreme route password to connect, but I keep getting a "Incorrect password for mynetworkname_2GEXT." I KNOW the password is correct.

 

Help! Is the ex6200 just not compatible with the Airport Extreme?

    Hello rvecchio 

     

    Have you tried to log into the extender GUI and use a different password? you should be able to log into the extender by going to www.mywifiext.net and use admin/password to log in.
