EX6200 Range Extender
Hi - my main router died, and I just replace it. I was a 2.4 ghz model and I had the EX6200 range extender set up to use that. I just bought a Linksys AC1900 DUAL BAND router, so it broadcasts in 2.4 and 5 ghz. My question is this - I COULD name both networks coming from the Linksys the same name and connect the EX6200 to that - what I am wondering is if I give the two new channels different names, can I set up the EX6200 to access each individually. Meaning, can I have the 2.4 ghz band from the Linksys router go to the 2.4 band coming from the EX6200 and the 5ghz going to the extender's 5ghz band? Thanks for any help you can provide...

Hello Stewravitz
Yes the EX6200 is a dual band extender so it can extend both bands.

Thank you Darren ... I will look at the online setup manual again as I must have missed how to do that the first time. I had only seen extending one network from the router.
