EX6200 to Arris TG1672

I have the EX6200v2 range extender, but it does not hook up with the Arris TG1672 (Spectrum) router even when connected with CAT5e

The 2.4 & 5 indicators stay red even when wired to the router.

Are they compatible? is the unit faulty (bought on Amazon) or am I wasting my time concerning the Arris?

    Did you try a factory reset by holding the reset button for 10 + seconds and make sure the extender has the latest firmware.
