EX6200 Wired devices lock up
I have been having an issue where wired devices connected to my ex6200 will lock up, seems to happen when there is heavy traffic to/from the device in question. Once this happens, the device has no network access, other devices cannot ping it, etc. Other devices continue to function normally. The only solution that I've found is to power-cycle the ex6200. I've tried using differenct ports on the ex6200, and the problem follows the device attempting heavy traffic. I haven't found any logs from the NETGEAR genie, so I don't have a lot of info to go on.
Any thoughts?

Hi shortyp,
Welcome to the community!
1. What is the firmware version of the extender?
2. Is the extender configured in AP mode or extender mode?
3. Have you tried resetting the extender?
4. When you say "lock up", does that mean it loses Internet connection?
5. When you say "other devices", are those devices connected to the extender as well?
6. Does the device that lock up lose the assigned IP address?

Dexter

Thanks for the reply, here are my answers:
1) Firmware Version: V1.0.3.82_1.1.117. I did a check for update, and it comes back that the firmware is up to date.
2) I am running in extender mode
3) Do you mean Settings -> Other -> Reset, which will "Restore all settings to factory defaults." No, I haven't done this. I have repeated the 'Smart Setup". I have power cycled several times, as this is the only way to recover the port.
4) By 'lock up' I mean that the device has lost internet access and network access. If I try to ping the locked up device from another device (wired or wireless), there is no response.
5) By 'other device' I mean any other device on my network, which could be a wired device connecte to the extender.
6) No, the locked up device doesn't lose it's IP address. ipconfig/ifconfig still shows the same IP address, and the genie still shows it as a connected device.
