EX7000 (AC1900 WiFi Range Extender) locks up couple times a week

For a few months I've been using the EX7000 (AC1900 WiFi Range Extender) connected to my C3700-100NAS, through both 2.5 and 5 GHz bands. A couple times each week, the network capability seems to lock up. I lose wifi capability and restarting both the net extender and router fixes the problems.

The C3700 Firmware Version is V2.02.21

The EX7000 Firmware Version: V1.0.1.106_1.0.190

 

Any suggestions?  Thanks!

      when it loses connectivity, does the router still work? 

      Yes

       

      Is it just the extender that stops? 

      Yes

       

      Are you able to access the extender if you hardwire into it? 

      I never tried it. I reboot it.

       

      Also, you might update the firmware on the extender,
