Is it ok to backup the configurations first and restore them after the factory reset, or do I have to make manual notes of the configurations and try to input everything back?

Hi akak,
If you have just updated the firmware before the factory reset, we recommend reconfiguring all the settings instead of restoring from backup to make sure that there are no issues/incompatibilities that may arise from a config of a different firmware version.

Thanks. The issue was resolved after restoring the Extender back to the factory default and manually configuring the settings back to what they were. I didn't have to do the same to the router, thankfully.
