EX7000 no internet connection
Ok - I'm stumped on this one and I'm not paying $50 for a support call if I cana get a new one for $100. Recently, my EX7000 (in Access Point mode) has been reporting that it has no internet connect...

Doesn't surprise me. Last week I caught a new Sonicwall AP on a good deal on eBay and bought it. I'm pulling this one out of service as soon as I find the time. It's good for you... pretty good guarantee that they'll fix it once I bought a new one :-)

umm, error has gone without firmware upgrade, makes me think it was still netgears backend

If it was the back end, the one off patch that they gave that other person would not have fixed it. Basically, they don’t care if you’re not on support. I still haven’t replaced mine yet, the AP is still sitting in the box. No time.

The bug is caused if your ISP does not support IPv6. I am a Virgin Media customer and only have IPv4 as standard and get the error message of no internet like everone else but it does work normally - just annoying message. Virgin do have a test IPv6 gateway and if I configure to use this gateway then the error goes away.
Many internet service providers (ISP's) have been upgrading to IPv6 and guess yours has and that is why the error message has gone away.
I have done so much testing this is the cause EX7000 is expecting IPv6 network not IPv4. Being fare to Netgear its poor IPv4 is still being used by some ISP's but BT and other providers migrated a few years ago but they could just provide a simple switch so you can select IPv4 or v6 and job done.
