EX7000, R7000 - stop "READYSHARE" from becoming an unreliable master browser
After updating the firmware from 1.0.0.66 to 1.0.1.78, the EX7000 appears in the computer category in Windows Network as MYWIFIEXT and READYSHARE rather than as a device named EX7000, and readyshare assumes the status of master browser on the LAN. After doing so, viewing network computers becomes frustratingly unreliable. If I shut off the extender (set up in fastlane mode with an R7000 router) and wait a few minutes for another computer to take over as the master browser, then everything works perfectly as it always has.
This problem coincides with the R7000 being updated to the latest firmware (1.0.9.42) which has another problem of not showing one particular wired device in the attached devices list despite full connectivity. I've tried multiple resets to factory defaults. These latest firmware versions don't seem to work properly.
I would like to know if there is any way to completely disable this unwanted EX7000/readyshare behaviour so it doesn't interfere with my LAN setup. I've disabled all the options in the USB settings and turned off the USB port.

- I am also having this issue. The EX7000 completely breaks all smb function on my network. This is usual netgear incompetance when it comes to software/ firmware. If I cannot find a solution by tonight It will be returned imediately.
