EX7000 vs EX6200 technical differences
The EX6200 specifies Beamforming+ among its features, there is no mention of that on the EX7000. Is that a mistake or an ommition?
Moreover, the 6200 has a quad core (no speed specified) whilst the 7000 has a 1Ghz dual core.
When using such an extender, is the new Extender SSID isolated with a separate DHCP server? If not, how are IPs assigned?
Can the network resources (printers, plugged USB drive in the extender) be hidden from the parent network?
Is it possible to create a guest network on the extender?
Thanks in advance for answering my questions.

According to Beamforming, the answer might be that there is no benefit of beamforming with short and long ranges. Only mid range gets 10-15% throughput increase depending on certain situations. Beamformind does not give more range. For a reference,

Anyone can verify this as the technical design decision from Netgear on the newer extender?
After waiting for a few days, I gave up and tried calling NetGear. It is always difficult to get knowledgeable people when you call NetGear! You only seem to get the BestBuy sales guy with copy and paste functionality of what is on the web page.
Calling support came up with a few answers but I'm not sure if they are accurate...
The EX6200 quad core is at 800Mhz.
When talking to the main router, these extenders translate mac addresses of their connected clients to virtual mac addresses sent to the main router. They use the DHCP of the main network and do not have their own. The extenders do not provide protection for extender connected clients.
All connected devices on the extended network are accessible through the extender via the router.
I was told the USB port is only accessible to local connected clients on the SSID of the extender.
It is not possible to create a guest network on the extender and the extender extends only one SSID from the main router.
