EX7300 Won't Connect on 5GHz Band

NOT SOLVED.
I am experiencing problems with the 5GHZ dropping connections after connecting. This problem is definitely not solved. When it does connect successfully, it will not maintain connection and/or it will drag very slowly. I own other extenders with Netgear that do not exhibit this problem on the 5GHZ.

Sorry it's still a problem for you. Did you force the router to change 5GHz channels?
I can only say for me it's been rock solid since I posted my original resolution not quite two weeks ago.

My router is ASUS RT-AC66U with DD-WRT latest firmware. I've tried nearly every channel with the 5 GHz, save and apply settings and reboot. Than, the extender usually will connect back to the router. My clients connecting to the extender are hit and miss connecting to the extender and if they do connect, it is usually dropped soon after.
