EX7700 — AC2200 Nighthawk X6 Tri-Band WiFi Mesh Extender not connected to a WiFi-enabled computer

I purchased the EX7700 — AC2200 Nighthawk X6 Tri-Band WiFi Mesh Extender a few days ago and followed the Quick Start guide. After the software installed the Netgear listed on my internet access list and the first 3 LED lights were all lit. Now it has disappeared from the listings and the middle LED is not lit, only the first and the third are lit. When I visit my wifi .next and I receive the "You are not connected to your extender's WiFi network." message. Then I tried visiting http://mywifiext with no luck. It keeps telling me that "mywifiext’s server IP address could not be found." and I am not connected to the internet despite that fact that I have very slow WiFi connected (Ping = 68 ms, Download 0.28 Mbps, Upload 0.00 Mbps). I have cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app - which tells me WiFi is not connected! How do I get around this?

What router is it connected to?

What method of install did you follow? wps or the installation wizard?

If it was wps, I'd recommend re-running it using the installation wizard.

    What firmware is it on?

It's not connected to a router. I am using wifi.  Initially, I downloaded the app, used "New System Setup", selected Nighthawk and scanned the QR code - it said the code wasn't valid.  So I went online.  I have since managed to get all 3 LED lights back, however, it's not listing.  I checked the wifi network properties and it's not there either.

None of what you put helped.

It needs a router to connect to. So what router are you using?

You didn't put what firmware you're on.

you put "all 3 led's back" but there's 4 leds. And you didn't list color/solid/blinking. be specific. I'll link to the support site that has the manual that walks you through what each led means.

You put you couldn't use the app so you "went online" and did what? went to routerlogin? searched for help? What did you do?
