EX7700 - Locked Out Of Device
Hello,
I have the EX7700, but haven't used it for a while.
I created a wifi name ELASKY123, which I want to get rid of - I forgot the password
I have tried the factory reset, but the connection still appears when I restart it.
What I'm looking for is a way to completely remove the "connection" and start again completely, if this makes sense?
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance

Hello,
Thanks for all the replies and apologies for the delay in responding.
I attach a screenshot of my phone.
A video of what I'm trying to do can be viewed at https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/1w2ii3huau69h4r3ea7b7/IMG_8119.MOV?rlkey=d9om96xr1a6qbxdbb05xyhp1a&dl=0
Basically I feel locked out of my extender.
I setup "SKYELA123" and cant get into it.
I would rather the extender extended the "SKYA98F7" if this is possible.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Pressing the reset button for 15 seconds on the EX unit, then release, should factory reset the extender back to factory defaults for new set up.

Did you hold the reset button long enough?
Did you change the name in the router? If the extender was connected to a router in mesh mode, you'd have to change the ssid on the router as well.

Hello, many thanks for the prompt reply.
I pressed the button, until the lights went on and off.
I haven't changed the name in the router, how would I do this please?
Thanks again.

That one you'd have to look up the manual for your router and log in and change it through the router. The extender isn't going to change the routers name.
