EX8000 + EX8000 Extender Issues
Hi
Ive recently moved into a New Build property & had a garden office built out the back garden.
I have a 360mb D/L speed in the house which is great but I need to get some of that down to the office.
The main router is in the airing cupboard in the centre of the house, I have an EX8000 extender downstairs as close to the office as possible and then another EX8000 in the office (I could also place it in the garage which sits in front of the office if need be) but the issue I have is that that extender in the office is just connecting to the main router and not the extender so essentially im trying to daisy chain "Home Router > Ex8000 > Ex8000> Office"
But whats actually happening would look more like this "Ex8000 > Home < Ex8000"
I know this daisy chain effect can be done as ive read on the forum the question is HOW... im a complete newb when it comes to this stuff.

Easiest way? Seperate out your ssid's. Have a different name for each extender's ssid so when you're setting up the connection, it knows specifically which device to connection to. Otherwise if the ssid's are the same, it can switch around.

Yes, but HOW is this done?

So hardwire into the extender with a computer. go to mywifiext.net. log into the extender. From there you can change the ssid. Here's an acticle from your support site.
and here's the support site with manuals, firmware, troubleshooting, FAQ for the EX8000
