EX8000 1.0.1.202 Firmware slow 5Ghz

Question

Just did the FW v1.02.202 and twice this cutout after so many hours and would not allow internet connection. After the second failure, I then saved config settings, downloaded the FW and flashed the EX8000 again. Did a full factory reset and set it back up.

I am using a R7800 as primary and have a gig network connection/ISP. From the R7800 I get 400-500 up/down wireless 5G. Before, I would get about 150 or so from the EX8000 on my computer (uses Qualcomm Atheros AR938x - driver v10.0.3.456).

So far with this new FW I am only getting 50 down and 80up. Slow as hell and I have gone back and rebooted all HW a couple times.

I'm about ready to downgrade the EX8000.

Anyone else having these issues?

What was the fastest speed you got with what FW?

Thanks for any notes on T/Sing this before I try another FW.

Hi Christian,&nbsp;Very odd that I did not get an email stating you responded to my post as I would have answered you much earlier.&nbsp;Yes I did try a test using LAN connected devices and then unplugging the EX8000 and running tests.&nbsp; All of which give me near my 1gb speed.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Turbojr74 - Thanks for confirming. On the extender do you have One WiFi name or Smart Connect enabled?&nbsp;Have you gotten a chance to change the WiFi channels on the R7800?

Christian - Hey I got this email notice :)&nbsp;I am using the One Wifi name for mesh.&nbsp; I have not changed the channels on the R7800.&nbsp; How would that effect the speed to the EX8000 when connecting to the R7800 is doing just fine with speed?&nbsp;I did notice the other day that the picture in the EX8000 status showed the 5GHZ output was disabled (for whatever reason as the config showed it was enabled and radio was on), restarted the EX8000 and the 5GHZ output showed green once more and on.&nbsp; However, this did not change anything regarding the speed...now I'm trying to check it every couple days to see if its off again.&nbsp; I have never seen that before.&nbsp; I have not yet gone back to an earlier firmware but thinking it may be necessary if this continues.
